Students Cannot Be Promoted Without Final Year Exams -SC

The Students Vs UGC matter is likely to be in favor of justice, finally, SC has given fair direction in view of Final Year Exam and Promotion without an exam.

Now, It would be grateful to see the view of UGC and States to handle the matter further.

Hope So, the BJP ruling states and Opposition ruling states will not make the asunder decisions that affect the health of students in favor of their political agenda.

Here are the few Key Points of the Students Vs UGC matter -

Students Cannot Be Promoted Without Final Year Exams, But States Can Approach UGC to Postpone Examinations

1. UGC guidelines to hold exams by September 30 not quashed.

2. The decision of State Disaster Management Authority to postpone exams will prevail over UGC guidelines.

3. However, SDMA cannot direct to pass students based on previous performance.

4. States/UTs cannot pass students without exams as directed by UGC.

5. States/UTs given libert to approach UGC to seek postponement of exams.
